The best tool you can use to start progress toward success is to get a notebook and write down as clearly as possible where you want to go. Make a map of your direction. If you are unsure of your direction, write out the questions that you have about making your dreams come alive. Be realistic in how you can reach your goals. There is no wrong way to do this. Writing these things down is only for you to see. Just an exercise to find out all the stuff you have spinning around in your head. Have fun doing this and be creative with it. Being creative will free your mind to really dream, at least on paper. Draw a colorful chart and just play. This may make you want to come back to your notebook more often.
Keep writing in your notebook as you learn more about where your journey is taking you. Each goal should have its own section. If you want a horse farm in the country, start looking up information on horse farms. To make a dream into reality, you have to add substance to it. For instance, find out about how much it will cost. You can probably find a gold mine of information on the Internet, but look at all sources available. There may be monthly magazines devoted to horse farming. If you can imagine it, there is probably a magazine for it. Do this exercise for each dream that you have. Research income potential and how you can get there. When you are done writing, start planning. Using the information you have gathered, make a step-by-step outline of how your dreams can become real. Get into the timeline for achieving your goal.
We all need help in this journey. Find others, perhaps those you discovered in your research. See what they have done to reach their goals and use them as an example for your own success. Watch what they have done and put your own spin on it. People who write the books do so in order to teach others how to succeed.
Picture the end result, believe in it and achieve it. Using this as your mantra, anything is possible. We are on the way!
