Beloved Feline, No More...
Irascible warrior, strong and proud
Wounded in battle, still yet a babe
You crawled to the door for healing.
Became the valued friend, grew in devotion
Never to part, always on guard.
Now you have gone, leaving behind
the canine companion who cries silent tears.
Farewell, Mrs. Underfoot, cat supreme
Now you lie in the arms of Bastest
and wait...until the day of reuniting.
