Ben is What You Aren't

Ben is what you aren't. Ben can't climb a tree. Ben can't play duck duck goose. He struggles with counting, but that doesn't stop him. Ben doesn't have many friends. He can't fight ninjas either. Ben usually can't spell words larger than 4 letters, but that doesn't stop him.

When asked a question Ben replies, "I Don't know". He can't swing on the monkey bars, and he has never won a game of tetherball. Sometimes Ben tries to eat school lunch, but people just cut in front of him. When Ben tries to text a friend, he realizes his only two contacts are his fathers'. Ben doesn't like ice cream, and he can't walk in a straight line- but that doesn't stop him.

Sometimes Ben goes fishing, and catches everything except fish. Ben finds lamp lights interesting, but usually can't turn them on. He puts glow in the dark stars on his ceiling. Ben only knows three songs- "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", his "ABC's", and "Ba Ba Black sheep"- all of which have the same melody. He only knows how to get the black channel and the blue channel on the television- he usually prefers the black. Ben has training wheels, but still can't ride his bike. Ben always spills his drink- but that doesn't stop him.

When Ben loses his stuff, he loses it forever. Ben can't open certain doors. When Ben tries to catch lizards he only gets their tails. If Ben sees a bee, no matter what, he manages to get stung. Ben doesn't even steal tooth picks at restaurants. Ben can't splash in puddles- but that doesn't stop him. Ben's Fathers' brush his teeth for him. He can't sleep in his bed without ending up on the ground. Ben hasn't figured out how to get his messes brushed up under the rug, but that doesn't stop him.

Ben Knows how to feed his dog.
