Ben and Jerry's Taking Flack for Homophobic and Racist Ice Cream Flavors

New Flavor for Gay Areas to Be Called "Baby Batter" Has Been Shelved

Ice Cream moguls Ben and Jerry have really stepped in it with their proposed flavor commemorating Martin Luther King's birthday this coming January with "Fat-free at Last!" Really just a revamped version of New York Super Fudge Chunk. The decision is being criticized as "insensitive" by self-appointed civil rights leaders Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. The new controversy comes at a bad time for the company after last month's release of "Hubby Hubby," a new flavor supporting gay marriage, with the salacious description: Tightly Packed Fudge, Lightly Oiled Nuts, in a Salt-Malt flavored ice cream. Hubby Hubby has also drawn fire as pandering to the gay community. A new flavor aimed at gay markets called "Baby Batter" has been shelved.

*Editor's note: This story is completely insensitive and contains hardly any actual facts..
