Phoenix -- Fiddler's Dream, a quaint coffee house, is presenting an all acoustic concert this Friday, July 31st. The concert will benefit abandoned animals or those that have been given up by their owners that could no longer take care of them. Due to the economic downturn, many animals have unfortunately lost their homes as well. Two rescue groups are sponsoring this significant event and they desperately need your support.

The two groups are Robin Hood Animal Foundation and The Lost Our Home Pet Foundation. All of these animals are facing death because of the large number that have been displaced and both of these non-profit groups are struggling to find them homes as well as temporarily feed them. Many local musicians are donating their time to perform at this great event; Steve Bodinet, Rocky Road, Joe Bethancourt, Kathy Malbry and J.R.Piper to name a few!

They are looking for donations for their 'white elephant' table, 'book nook' and doggie boutique with all proceeds benefiting these great groups. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the music starts at 7:00 p.m. They are are looking for a suggested monetary donation of $5.00 to $20.00. So, come on down and enjoy a great cup of coffee, a cookie and listen to great music while supporting these worthy causes!

Fiddler's Dream is located at; one block north of Glendale Ave. on 17th. Street. Call 602-997-9795 for directions. Also, you could check out their fantastic website with a full calendar of events at: www.fiddlersdream.org
