We all read about apple cider vinegar, and we read ancient and modern stories about its uses and benefits, but there is something we need to pay attention to, that is what we see in the markets of apple or even grape vinegar, is nothing but a substance of the chemical acetic acid, and is not the kind of vinegar that we would want to use.

The acidic apple vinegar agitates the stomach lining, and has many side effects, and may cause ulcers in the intestines and in the stomach specially if used unmixed with enough amount of water to reduce its intensity. And this is not the vinegar to be used for medical purposes.

The natural apple vinegar is known to be the best vinegar in both nutrition and medical uses, and other types of vinegar like the grape vinegar does not match the apple vinegars benefits.

The following are some of the most known remedial uses of the apple vinegar, the source of these uses is the "sayings" of prophet Mohamed (pbuh) the prophet of Islam, which is a very important source for the Arabic Medicine:

1-Legs Varicose Disease: Massage the extended leg veins with a little concentrated apple vinegar once at the day and once at the night for a month, along with one spoon of apple vinegar mixed with a glass of water once a day and once a night. During this time, you would notice the atrophy of these veins.
2-Alopecia: Paste the infected area with the concentrated apple vinegar 6 times daily for 15 days.
3-Arthritis: Mix one small spoon of the vinegar with a glass of water and drink it before each meal daily for a month.
4-Eye Wetness and teary eyes: Same as the arthritis but for tow weeks.
5-To avoid Arteriosclerosis: small spoon in a glass of water daily.
6-Kidney and urine infection: 2 small spoons in a glass of water twice daily for 15 days.
7-Herpes: Massage the infected area with the natural apple vinegar 4 times a day, and once before going to bed for 4 days.
8-Night sweats: Massage the body with a little of the vinegar before sleeping.
9-Vomiting and diarrhea: 2 spoons of the vinegar in a glass of water before every meal for 4 days.
10-Sore throat: Small spoon of vinegar in a glass of water, and then gargle for 5 seconds every hour, and when you notice an improvement, make that once every 2 hours, for 2 days.
11-Insomnia: Mix 3 small spoons of the natural apple vinegar with a cup of the natural honey, and take a small spoon of the mixture on bed time and when not being able to sleep, repeat that every half an hour.
12-Burns: Paste the concentrated natural vinegar on the burned areas twice for one day.

The natural apple vinegar is also used to lose weight by taking 2 spoons of the vinegar and mix it with a glass of water and drink it before every meal. It takes about a year to lose 10 kgs of extra fat, I know it is a very long period, but the good thing is that you wont need to be on any kind of diets during this period.

Another good use for the apple vinegar is to kill germs and harmful bacteria, because these germs and bacteria survive by draining the water that the body cells needs, but the potassium in the apple vinegar revises the process, and kills the germs. Again that is by mixing a small spoon with a glass of water daily.

All the above mentioned uses depend on the natural apple vinegar, and here is the way that you can make it your self:

1-You need 4 kilograms of apple, clean it will and slice it into 4 pieces, don't peal it and don't remove the seeds from it, keep it as it is.
2-Spread it in a basket of plastic or something similar, the basket should have holes to insure good air flow. Cover it with a light piece of fabric to keep it from bugs.
3-Leave it in a warm area for a week until you can smell a very strong smell, it is the smell of the fermenting process, and you can notice the piling of bacteria at the edges of the apple, and it will gradually covers all the apples.
4-After that take it from the basket, and place it in a glass bottle in away that the apple will be lining up on no more than 5 rows to insure that the squeezing is right and not caused by the apple weight, cover the bottle with a piece of fabric and leave it in a warm place for a week.
5-When you notice a yellow liquid at the bottom of the bottle, empty the liquid into another bottle, make sure that you don't take the apple out, and make sure that your hands aren't touching the apple.
6-Repeat the process until you notice that the apple has dried out of liquids.
7-Filter the previously gathered liquid in another bottle; you will notice that the liquid leave black dispositions wait until these dispositions are gathered in the bottom of the bottle and then filter the liquid in another bottle.
8-Repeat the process until you have clear vinegar that has no impurities.

That is how you get your own home made apple vinegar.
