There are all different types and flavors of Teas on the market and all have the same benefits as the others. Some, like Kambucha tea, are known to cure cancer. Even though this has never been scientifically proven there are still other benefits of drinking tea on a daily basis.

Antioxidants: A good source of antioxidants can be found in tea leaves. Antioxidants, which can be found in a variety of foods, has the benefit of preventing cell damage.

Cancer: Though it is still not scientifically proven, drinking tea is believed to be a cure for cancer. Kombucha tea, which can be home brewed, is one of the varies teas that is said to contain the source to cure cancer.

Heart Attacks: Drinking tea is also a good way to help prevent heart attacks. Many men and woman die, or suffer, from a heart attack each year. Drinking two or three cups of tea each day, instead of coffee, can help reduce the chances of having a heart attack.

Teeth: Tea is a good source of fluoride, so while drinking that morning cup of tea you are protecting yourself from not only tooth decay but giving yourself the added benefit of protecting against plague.

Because brewed tea does not have any added ingredients, it does appear it is better than prepared tea. However, if you are going to brew your own tea than it is advisable to keep in mind that a bad batch could make you very sick.
