Just like any fresh cut Christmas tree you can purchase an organic tree in any shape and size to fit your room. And an organic tree is better for the environment since chemicals are not used to produce them.
Natural organic Christmas trees are grown by tree farms and when you buy one you are helping the economy since you buy a new one every year. These trees are grown in organic conditions and they are cut, harvested and replanted every year. It is a business for some people to grow Christmas trees and sell them; it is how they make a living.
You can buy a tree at a lot in town but you don't know if you are getting an organic Christmas tree. You are going to have this tree in your home with you for probably a week or more. You may want to get an organic tree for your health and since the tree was grown under natural conditions it is better for the environment.
Once you are through with your organic Christmas tree you can dispose of it and not worry about harmful chemicals being released into the land. You can compost it, burn it, and put it in a landfill. You may even want to put it in a lake to help fish have a place to reproduce. Since it is an organic tree it will not hurt the earth where ever it goes.
Artificial Christmas trees are manufactured with plastic and many other chemicals. Just making an artificial Christmas tree is bad for the environment. Many people think they are helping the environment by having artificial Christmas trees because they are using the same tree every year. But in fact these trees are harmful to the environment.
Organic Christmas trees are lovely and they allow you to have a different tree every year. You may not know where you can go to get an organic Christmas tree in your area. If not you can go to http://www.greenpromise.com/resources/organic-christmas-trees.php on the net. You may even be able to check with your local state forests for information.

Post a CommentHmmm, some very interesting points. My family always gets a real tree, simply because the artificial ones just aren't right, the smell or look. Never thought about organic.
