As a makeup lover and beauty professional, I have seen products come and go, regularly. I love trying new goodies but to be honest, only about half of them really impress me. Gel Eyeliner Application Tips

Using a gel eyeliner takes a little practice. Gel behaves a little differently than kohl but once you master it, you'll never go back. Follow these application steps to get a flawless look every time.

1. Turn the base of the gel pen to press gel onto the brush. Alternatively you can dip the brush in the gel, depending on the type of gel liner you have.

2. Dab the tip on your clean finger quickly to remove any excess.

3. Lean into the mirror and begin drawing your line on the top lashes. Start at the inside of the eye and draw outward.

4. Keep your eye closed for 30 seconds to 1 minute to allow the gel to dry completely.

5. Draw under the eye from the outside of the eye to the inner corner.

6. Do the same for the opposite eye.
