With small toddlers I think it's useful to start using an electric toothbrush early on. It really helps kinds not develop sensitivity or aversions to tooth brushing. Add in music and teeth brushing becomes and engaging activity. This is great for children with sensory issues.
The musical electric toothbrush could be a great incentive for those children who shy away from brushing their teeth. Letting your little one choose his or her own tooth brush with music and sounds will also make the whole experience more meaningful for most children. I can remember the first time I let my small children pick out their own toothbrushes it really made them want to brush more than if mom had just picked up any old tooth brush.
The greatest thing about a musical electric toothbrush is they teach your child how hard to press. These types of brushes generally don't work unless they are used properly. Meaning they need to be pressed on the teeth using a certain amount of pressure. This ensures your child is brushing correctly. The longer they can brush on their own the longer the music will play!
The main benefit of using a musical electric toothbrush is it will usually play a song for a certain amount of time. This will get your child into the habit of brushing their teeth for a certain amount of time. This is a really good way to teach children who don't yet have a huge concept of time how long they should brush.
Using a musical electric toothbrush can make brushing much more fun for your little one. These types of toothbrushes also feature ergonomic handles which are more comfortable for little ones than traditional brushes. Your little ones will love listening to their favorite songs while brushing.
Lastly the most important benefit of using a musical electric toothbrush is that it is a deeper cleaning than conventional brushes. This is very beneficial is preventing tartar from forming on teeth and plaque buildup. I also think it helps small ones get ready for their first dentist visit. They are less apt to be fearful of the dentists polishing equipment when they are already used to using an oscillating brush. This is very beneficial in alleviating fear in young patients.
Overall a musical electric toothbrush is beneficial for little ones and will help teach them good oral hygiene habits while making the experience fun and interesting.
