The resort is cheaper than others in the area since it is fairly new. Prices range from $280 to $490 a night in the summer and $205 to $390 a night in the winter. This includes a hot buffet breakfast each morning, which was very good. An all inclusive meal plan can be added for $110 per day.
We added the Endless Water Sports value added package to our stay. For $35 per day, we got rentals of all the non-motorized water sports equipment which included rafts, kayaks, snorkels, boogie boards, and more. This was a big hit with the kids because they were very excited about playing in the ocean and this gave them a wide variety of things to do there. All guests also get free tennis racquet rentals.
I though the cabanas were very neat. They were like tents, made out of a material like the sail of a ship. There were lots of windows and doors to open and a ceiling fan so there was great air circulation to keep it cool inside. The cabanas are on stilts right over the ocean and each one feels very private.
There are two restaurants on the grounds and they were all quite good. Hi Tide is where the breakfast buffet is served. Here, you can eat outdoors on a deck with a view of the ocean. Hi Tide also serves dinner at tables around the pool. Dark 'n' Stormy's is the beach bar and grill which also has views of the ocean and delicious food. Another fun way to eat is from the a la Cart service which will deliver whatever you want to wherever you are on the grounds. When you check in you receive a pre-programmed cell phone that allows you to call them without going indoors.
There are activities scheduled each day. These involve things like SCUBA training, SCUBA dives, snorkeling cruises, bike tours, and turtle watching. These activities are very convenient because they are arranged directly through the resort.
We were very happy with our decision to stay at 9 Beaches because everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The resort is only a few years old so everything is in great condition but they have been open long enough to work out all the kinks. I would return here if I was ever in the area again.
