Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes Pass Away

D. Ross
You know I just cannot believe the events that happened this weekend. On Saturday, August 9, 2008, Bernard Jeffrey McCullough a.k.a. Bernie Mac, passed away at a Chicago hospital due to pneumonia. Bernie suffered from Sarcoidosis and he was only 50 years old. In 2005 Bernie mentioned that the Sarcoidosis went into remission. This is an awful tragedy. I cannot believe it. Never had I thought that I would be reading an article about the death of Bernie Mac. Everyone, never forget this man. He was an awesome actor and a great comedian. He always made people laugh. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. Let's take a look back on his career....

He was in Mo' Money, House Party 3, Above the Rim, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood, Get on the Bus, Booty Call, How to Be a Player, Don King: Only in America, The Players Club, Life, What's the Worst That Could Happen, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Friday, Pride, Transformers, Oceans 11,12, and 13, and not to forget his hit television show, titled The Bernie Mac Show.

(You can find more films and T.V shows he was on by going to www.imdb.com/name/nm0005170). You can also read what his friends are saying in his memory by going to http://news.yahoo.com/s/eonline/20080810/en_celeb_eo/23032. His biography can be found by clicking HERE.

Bernie Mac, you will always be one of the Original Kings of Comedy. God Bless and may you rest in peace.

One day after this tragedy hit America, another talented star passed away. Isaac Hayes, famous for the theme song of Shaft, died at 65. This man was an innovator, a musical genius, an ICON, and a Grammy winner. Who can't forget his comical performance in I'm Gonna Git You, Sucka! That movie is a classic! And of course the voice of Chef on South Park! He also played in Hustle & Flow as an owner of a bar/club. His death is still unknown. He was found on his bedroom floor by one of his family members with the treadmill still running.

You can also find Isaac Hayes' bio on wikipedia by going here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Hayes.

They say stars pass in threes. I know we are not meant to live forever, but why these two? Why not evil doers who don't deserve to breathe air? Why take 2 of the most influential people of all time? I don't get it.
