The official maker of the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean is Jelly Belly, and the company was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1976. Bertie Bott's every flavor bean is the jelly bean preferred by Harry Potter. There are 10 different flavors, which include, Pickle, Black Pepper, Booger, Dirt, Earthworm, Earwax, Sausage, Rotten Egg, Soap, and Vomit. The color of each bean corresponds to the name.

These jelly beans can be purchased online in different packaging. Bertie Botts 10 flavor discovery box comes with all 10 different flavors, each in it's own pocket, for $5.99. You can sample all 10 flavors this way. For $7.99 you can order 4, 1.6 oz., boxes of the beans. They are randomly assorted, and from the 20 different flavors, Rotten Egg, Bacon, Green Apple, Grape Jelly, and Blueberry are included. Twelve boxes can be purchased for $22.99.

To those who are Harry Potter fans, they are a magical kind of candy, and fun to purchase, and enjoy looking at and eating. My sons got a bag each, it was so much fun to try and to do the hit and misses on good or foul tasting beans. We laughed pretty hard. It was a great way for them to interact with the book/movie we had a great time with such a simple unique item as a small pouch of 'beans'
