There are romantic comedies, and then there are pure romance movies. These are the kinds of movies that focus entirely on the essence of the love story, without trying to make you laugh the entire time. These are the top 5 anticipated romance movies that are coming to the theaters in 2010. Make sure you bring some Kleenex to these because they are meant to make you shed a few tears along the way.

5. The Last Song - On April 2nd, Miley Cyrus and Nicholas Sparks pair up to bring you The Last Song. The Hannah Montana superstar plays Veronica Ronnie Miller. Ronnie, as she likes to go by, is still struggling with her parents divorce from three years ago and puts most of the blame on her father. She reluctantly agrees to spend the summer with him on Tybee Island. While there, she meets her first true love. Nicholas Sparks is the master of heart melting romance tales. He has brought us The Notebook, A Walk to Remember and Message In a Bottle.

4. Remember Me - This romantic comedy comes to the big screen on March 12th. This movie is about two young lovers and their fight through family tragedies. Will they recover and have love prevail?

3. Last Night - Sam Worthington and Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightly star in this romantic drama that is coming to theaters on May 14th. The two stars play a married couple that is separated for one troublesome night while Worthington is away on business. Worthington is not away by himself though, as he is accompanied by his co-worker played by Eva Mendes. Will he give in to temptation? Better yet, will his wife be able to withstand a chance meeting with her ex-lover?

2. Letters to Juliet - Amanda Seyfried plays an American girl vacation in Italy that comes along some unanswered love letters from long ago. Her curiosity sparks her to track down the people from these "Juliet Letters" and in her adventure to bring to old flames together; she too gets hit by cupid's arrow.

Amanda Seyfried dominates the romantic movie world in 2010, starring in Letters to Juliet and this film that will reach theaters on February 5th. She and her lover are torn apart by his duty to his nation. Will her soldier and her be able to keep their love string while they are so fall apart?
