Thai Noodle House menu & online ordering

Thai Noodle House offers good tasting Thai food as well as several Vietnamese dishes and the prices are the cheapest of the top three. The Thai Noodle House reminds me of the street vendors of Thailand with it's laid-back atmosphere, cheap cost, and good food. However, the lack of decor and almost too casual manner may not appeal to some restaurant goers. Thai Noodle House is less than a block from the University of Texas campus and offers delivery for a small fee. They also have online ordering by the link below though they don't have their own website. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

2. Satay Restaurant

You enter Satay through an exquisite outside dining patio which features live entertainment. It has the most authentic Thai decor and environment of the top three, but the prices are the most expensive. They offer delicious Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian food and cater as well as rent out their banquet room. It is very comfortable and decorated wall to wall with pieces of Thai culture. The menu is lengthy giving the most picky eater many choices. Not only does Satay offer great food, delivery and even hi-speed internet, you can also learn to cook in Chef Foo's Cooking Class. With it's friendly staff and enchanting layout, Satay offers a very fine Thai dining experience.

Ka-Prow is the all-around best Thai restaurant in Austin. It offers not only delicious, authentic Thai cuisine, but also Japanese Sushi and Vietnamese dishes. The prices are very good with most of the Thai dishes in the $8-10 dollar range, but you can also get Sushi for a reasonable price or splurge on the specials. They offer not only the traditional dishes, but also Asian Fusion dishes with a mix of tastes from different parts of Asia. The staff is quick and friendly and even Chef O comes out to talk with customers. The restaurant decor is stylish and very comfortable. Ka-Prow offers a one year membership card that costs 10 dollars, but gives you 10% off of everything except alcohol. The membership card pays for itself very quickly as you can use it every time you dine.

You can't go wrong with any of one these three non-chain Thai restaurants, but with the low cost, comfy environment, and great authentic Thai food, Ka-Prow wins as the best non-chain Thai restaurant in Austin.
