Fight Club (1999)
A disgruntled, bored office worker who is also an insomniac, seems to be going nowhere in his job until meets a guy that sell soap, Tyler. He gives him a different way to look at life. Together, they make a fight club and plan anarchy in the world. This film is full of sarcasm, yet it makes you think about a lot of things. Edward Norton and Brad Pitt are amazing in this movie. This is one of the best movies starring Brad Pitt because he acts like a real person. He looks at the world in a certain way, and doesn't want to trapped by what society thinks. The way he talks, he makes everything that you do in your life seem trivial. And Brad's character get beat up. How many movies have you seen than he gets all bloody and bruised up in? You can also tell that he committed himself to the character. Nothing seems forced, he is Tyler Durden. Brad plays typical characters, but not in this movie, which is why I like it so much. The first time I saw this film I was blow away by the performances.

Snatch (2001)
This is an intertwined story of bare-knuckle boxing, an Irish Gypsy, a dog, gangsters, assassins, and bumbling crooks. And they are all trying to get a pricey diamond. They all have different plans to get the same thing, and some are killed, some survive assassination attempts, and some get revenge. As the bullets fly about, plans are foiled, and some up the ante to get the diamond.......but who will get it? Directed by Guy Ritchie, this movie has smart dialog and plenty of action. This is one of my top Brad Pitt Movies because of his superb acting. The character that he plays is an Irish Gypsy, That no-one can understand because of his Irish slang. He gives a very memorable performance. There are many stars in this film, but his character stands out the most. There is scene in the film where his comrades are holding him back from something dangerous. As he struggles, you really can feel his emotions as he shouts and cries to get free. Every time I watch this film, that scene tugs at my heart.

Troy (2004)
This is a tale almost as old as time. Written by Homer, the Iliad is a story of Greeks and Trojans. They fight over one woman, Helen Of Troy. Achilles, the legendary warrior, is the pride of the Greeks. But when he kills a Prince from Troy, it makes him an enemy of the King of Troy. Brad plays Achilles, the warrior who is fierce in combat. This movie is filled with memorable scenes, and what makes this one of the top Brad Pitt movies is the range of acting that he displays. When he feels sadness, you feel it, and when he gets mad you get riled up as well. He plays the ultimate hero, which is something he doesn't play very often. He plays it to the tee, doing what he wants to do on his own terms. But he also shows a softer side as well, and that makes him more likable. As I watched this film, it was almost as if I was in awe of Achilles, he just didn't seem human to me.

Meet Joe Black (1998)
A successful older man is about to enjoy his birthday when Death pays him a visit. Before he is going to take his life though, he asks him to be his host on his visit to Earth. As he learns about the world, he starts to like the older man's daughter, which complicates things for Death. This is one of my favorites because this movie is severely underrated. It may seem that Brad Pitt's character is out of place, but that is exactly the way he is suppose to be acting like. Death is clueless as to what goes on in the world, and he acts like a foreigner in a new land. Also, Pitt's character talks calmly throughout the film and seems at ease when he walks. Quite the opposite of what you think Death would act like on Earth. It is very fascinating to see Joe Black's many sides. He seems to be a multi-faceted person, who is trying to make sense of what is going around him.

Legends of the Fall (1994)
A family's troubles are shown amidst heartache, strife, and war. Brad Pitt plays the middle son Tristan of the Ludlow family, who seems to be in the middle of everything. I have yet to see this film, but this is one of the top movies with Brad Pitt because I frequently keep hearing about it. I have never heard anything bad about it, and all I hear is good things about this film. When I try to rent it, it's never available, and when some mentions this film, they always tell me I have to see it. Perhaps I should just buy this film already....
