Dressing up for Halloween is fun for both children and adults! Here are 10 of the best Associated Content articles detailing some great adult Halloween costumes and ideas!

1. Bride : This is a great way to wear your wedding dress again, if you don't mind. What else does it do besides sit in your closet; there's only a very slight chance your daughter wants to wear your dress 20 or 30 years from now, right? If you don't have a bride's dress to wear for Halloween, borrow your mom's or visit a thrift store for a cheap one. Do your makeup and wear a tiara, just like on your wedding day.

2. Maternity Pumpkin Belly : If you're sporting a pregnant belly this Halloween, you can make it into a pumpkin! Wear a bikini top or just roll up a t-shirt. You'll use safe body paint and paint your entire belly orange, and paint a black mouth and eyes.

3. Black Cat Costume : What goes with Halloween more than a black cat? For Halloween, making a black cat outfit is pretty easy, and cheap! You'll need a black leotard or bodysuit, black boots, black hair paint spray, black cat ears and tail. Then you'll do your makeup with black eyeliner and gray shadow.

4. Susan Boyle : Susan Boyle blew people away with her wonderful singing voice on Britain's Got Talent. To make yourself up like Susan Boyle for Halloween, get a wig and spray a salt and pepper effect with hair spray paint. Style it like Susan's. Go little to no makeup and thicken your eyebrows, wear a gold knee-length dress, dark brown nylons, and open toe pumps. Accessorize with a blue bracelet and gold necklace. To look more like a contestant on the show, make Susan Boyle's ID numbers on a white card and stick it to you. You can also carry a microphone.

5. Michelle Obama : Michelle Obama is bringing a new look to the White House. To dress up as Mrs. Obama, you'll need to wear a fashionable, elegant dress. If you don't have a resemblance to Michelle Obama, you can buy her Halloween mask and wig available at many stores.

6. President Barack Obama : To become our President, check your closet for a classy suit and tie. If you don't have a suit, just a white shirt and slacks will work, because we've seen President Obama wear this several times, with the sleeves rolled up. Find a Barack Obama face mask at a Halloween store and you are set!

7. Poorhouse Pirate: This poorhouse pirate makes a perfect do it yourself, cheap, costume for Halloween. Tie a bandana around your head, and wear an unbuttoned white shirt, rolled up pants, and boots. Plastic toy swords will complete the ensemble.

8. Scarecrow : When you think of scarecrow, maybe the Wizard of Oz comes to mind. Maybe you think of the old scarecrow in your garden scaring the pesty animals off. Whichever scarecrow image you have, you can easily become one for Halloween. Find some old faded blue jeans, flannel button up shirt, and rope. Stuff pieces of hay or straw in your shirt and/or under your cuffs.

9. Hippie : Another easy costume this year, a hippie. Check out your storage closets, grandma's closet, and thrift stores. Bright colors and tie dye are great. Bell bottoms and moccasin shoes can complete the apparel. Wear a peace sign too.

10. Plus Size Nurse Costume : Who says plus size women can't be sexy nurses too? The "Vital Signs" costume mentioned in this article, bought from Halloween Express, runs up to 3x sizes and includes a cap and stethoscope.
