I've spent some time looking for costume ideas myself and have found some great sites for quick and creative costumes this Halloween. Please take a few moments to click through the links throughout this article, you might find the perfect solution to your Halloween needs in a fraction of time you thought you'd spend.

A very creative and innovative article I found features instructions for several variations to dressing up a plain white sheet. Take a look at Susana Alves' article, "Make Halloween Costumes from Bed Sheets," for some fabulous and surprising last minute ideas.

Another great AC article, "Halloween Fun on a Shoestring Budget," provides a great selection of ideas for cheep and creative costumes. I love Constance Phillips' featured Gumball Machine idea. It sounds simple and probably looks great when it's all put together.

Let's face it, most women need to put together a sexy costume from time to time. Aida Ekberg's, "Sexy Last-Minute Halloween Costumes for Women" makes note of the great items that will work and are already sitting in your closet. She suggests great costumes like a sexy gangster or librarian and teacher. Be sure to read this article if you're stumped for quick ideas.

If you're searching for a costume for toddlers or babies, you may want to review ThirtiesMama's, "Best Places to Find Kid's Halloween Costumes Online," for some refreshing sites to shop. The Pottery Barn is not a place I would expect to find a costume, but for older children, it can be a great place to find a more original feeling costume than what you'd find at Target or Walmart. There are also several sites named throughout her article which detail websites dedicated to toddler and infant costumes.

If you're as bad at sewing as I am, you'll want to take a moment to read, A. Hermitt's, "Halloween Costumes You Can Make Without Sewing." It features a wonderful and creative idea for a new spin on the traditional ghost costume - made from Tulle fabric.

For a few quick and easy costumes made of household objects, check out Leslie Burris', "Halloween Costumes in a Pinch." This article has great thoughts on how to turn drab sweatsuits or pj's into an exciting and girly costume using paints, glue, and glitter. These ideas are perfect for a creative little girl who wants to be in charge of her Halloween costume. For more ideas on using sweat suits, take a look at, "132 Different Halloween Costume Ideas for Children that Use Sweat Suits." You'll find a long list of great ideas for embellishing common clothes to awesome costumes.

Continuing with my web search, I also found a great article on, "5 of the Easiest and Cleverest Halloween Costumes Ever." Mommy2 came up with some great ideas for last minute costume needs. My favorites here were the Sugar Daddy and Black Eyed Pea. Take a look for yourself, or read about how to disguise yourself as a basket of laundry or dresser. Read all about this and more creative costumes at, "Top Quick and Easy Homemade Halloween Costumes," by Amalynn.

If you prefer a more traditional homemade approach, be sure to read Brenda Hoffman's, "Homemade Halloween Costumes." Her article features the classics we love including Scarecrows, nerds, and hippies.
