There are many great articles here on AC about Halloween costumes for women. Here is a list of ten of the best, most recent, articles:

1) Cheap and Easy Halloween Costumes for Women by K Hutchins

This one is for the woman who needs to throw together an easy costume, but doesn't want to spend much money, or deal with the hassle. It gives you great tips on becoming a Punk rocker, gypsy, professor, witch, Miss America, or a Grecian goddess.

2) Ideas for Mother Nature Costume Outfits by A. Hermitt

I chose this one because the theme is unique. It works for both young and older(but still young at heart!) women. The article gives ideas for a sexy mother nature, as well as ideas for pregnant women.

3) How to Make a Betty Boop Halloween Costume in 4 Easy Steps by Sabah Karimi

Who doesn't love Betty Boop? I think being Betty Boop for Halloween would be fun, and this article tells you how to create the costume. The article includes a step by step guide on the dress, the hair, the shoes, and the makeup. All you'll need to do is master the voice.

4) Homemade Angel Halloween Costume Ideas by Angel Vee

This article is great because it expands on the angel theme. Women of all ages could use the ideas here to dress up as an artic angel, with icicles and glitter, or Eskimo angel, complete with fuzzy boots. It also includes the idea for a holiday angel, and not just Christmas, but Easter or Valentine's Day, too!

5) Sexy Halloween Costume Ideas for Women: Feminizing Tim Burton Characters by Aida Ekberg

This amazing article takes male Tim Burton characters and turns them into costumes for women. One awesome example is to have a female Beetlejuice! The author also feminizes Willy Wonka, the Mad Hatter, and even Jack Skellington! Why should the boys have all the fun? These great characters can be women, too.

6) Sexy Halloween Costume Ideas for Women: 60's Icons by Aida Ekberg

Want to be Twiggy or Audrey Hepburn for Halloween? Better yet, how about Jimi Hendrix? Like the previous article, this one gives you ideas on being a female Jimi Hendrix. There's even a link to a guitar shaped purse!

7) Super Creative Maternity Halloween Costumes for 2009 by Angel Vee

Although this article doesn't provided detailed descriptions or lists of what you need for each costume, it does give many fantastic ideas for the mommy-to-be. Some of the best ideas are to dress up as a leprechaun and make your belly look like a rainbow or a pot of gold, or to dress up as a queen bee and make your belly look like a baby bee or a jar of honey.

8) Plus Size Halloween Costumes for Women by Anglia VanHorne

This article is a great one because most store bought costumes, for plus size women, are outrageously priced. The ones listed here are more reasonable, and there are some good ideas, too. You could dress up as a Baroness, or Pocahontas.

9) Sexy Bedroom Halloween Costumes for Women and Men by Angel Vee

This is such a great article. Not only does it give you costume ideas for a night out on Halloween, but it provides you with an alternative use for the costumes: A night in the bedroom. You could be a red hot sexy devil, a dirty cat, or a playboy bunny.

10) 5 Halloween Costumes for Women by Meg C.

There are some simple costume ideas here, but all worthy. For Halloween, go as June Cleaver, Marilyn Monroe, or Marge Simpson. The article includes links to where you can purchase wigs for these costumes at a reasonable price.
