Yesterday in Hyde Park I experienced the best Christmas fair I've ever seen. Hyde park in London has been totally transformed by the German fair. The wooden stalls are packed full of goodies and the rides were awesome. My friend from Chester brought his daughter down, and insisted I encompany them to the fair, it was awesome. Christmas trains, spinners, Ferris wheels, ice skating, ghost trains roller coasters were all some of the amazing rides available and I believe it will continue for a few more days. If your anywhere in the UK, I reccomend you go down and check out the fair in Hyde Park. Christmas really has begun early.
Christmas poem
Santa's hut awaits his guests (1st Stanza)
he is not there nor are his helpers
however his inflatable image
Remains freshly inflated.
*
Live at the grotto before (2nd Stanza)
Christmas's eve: gifts,
guests, and plastic
puff pillow seats.
*
Christmas gifts are scribed (3rd Stanza)
on lists, awaiting the grotto's
Acknowledgement, can you
hear them scribbling?
*
Constantly the joy that (4th Stanza)
Christmas generates is
increasing at a rapid pace.
Giddy up, Rudolph and Dasher.
*
Soon Santa will arrive (5th Stanza)
and the grotto afoot.
In preparation this eve
I'd lite electric red wax.

Post a CommentChristmas magic is here! I'd really like to have some of that electric red wax... It sounds spectacular and makes for a great ending image.
Kudos!
Very nice. ;-)
very cool!
;-)
nicely done :)
Hyde Park - London. The Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago is named after this place.
Thanks Sheryl this is a good question and I think it means many things. The main one I think has changed throughout the Christmas's is the amount of electric being used to light up and give an atmosphere of Christmas. But if I remember when I wrote it I was thinking more about the young child writing a letter to Santa then sealing it with wax. Candles are great and it is difficult due to fire risks these days. Electric is good though, isn't it.
Very cool...what's electric red wax?!
Very nice work. :-)
