I know, I know. You're sitting there thinking, 'Why on earth, would I want to make a special trip to a Dairy Queen?" Dairy Queen is located right on the river and when I say right on the river, I mean right on it. If you stepped out the window of the Dairy Queen you would fall in the river. The view is absolutely amazing. This is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. Just sit there and enjoy a wonderful dessert while starting out over the river.

There are so many wonderful gift shops in Cherokee North Carolina. While visiting this summer, you must spend some time shopping. Whether you're looking for a simple souvenir or an Indian blanket, you will find something to remember your time in Cherokee. Before moving to the area, I used to come to Cherokee with my family and I actually still have an Indian blanket that was bought when I was probably 5 or 6 years old. Be sure to buy something that you'll love and treasure like I did.

    I have visited Cherokee, NC ever since I was a little girl every summer. I have requested a visitors guide for the last 2 years and I
    am yet to receive one. I don't understand what it takes to get this information. I really love this place and it has been 5 years
    since I visited there. I plan on coming this year. I hope to get some information so I can plan my trip. If you get the chance to
    visit Cherokee, DO IT!
