Best Baby Dolls 2010

The best baby dolls 2010 are not only the most popular of all the baby dolls this year, but are in fact quite a bit different than this type of toy was when I myself was a girl. The features that come with them are actually pretty amazing, ranging from additional bodily functions to automatic responses to - well, practically anything!

Mainly geared toward the very young ladies out there, here are the top three baby dolls for girls this year:

1. Baby Alive Sips and Cuddles Baby Doll (for girls from 18 months old and up) - When the "Sips and Cuddles" baby is fed, it makes some very cute drinking noises and when held it giggles very much like a real baby. This doll comes from the hottest brand name in dolls for little girls this year, which is appropriately named due to the unique and very lifelike features - Baby Alive.

2. Little Mommy Play All Day Baby Doll (for girls 2 to 6 years of age) - This baby doll responds to many different actions that little ladies dish out. Actions such as bouncing, flipping, hanging upside-down and "flying" can elicit some amusing and very cute responses. As is true with many of the baby dolls available this year, this particular doll comes in different ethnicities including Caucasian, African American and Hispanic.

3. Corolle Mon Premier Baby Dolls (for girls 18 months old to 4 years) - The Corolle Mon Premier dolls are my personal favorites of any this year. What I notice the most about them is their looks - their faces are quite lifelike, moreso than any of other baby dolls I looked at. One other feature of these dolls that makes them more realistic is that they are soft and made to be pose-able, so they can assume just about any position that a real baby can. There are quite a few different versions to choose from, the most popular of which appears to be the "Calin Blue Striped" version which wears cute little blue and white striped pajamas and a light blue stocking cap.

The best baby dolls for 2010 listed above are just a beginning of what can be found these days, but I happen to agree with the consumers (who obviously love them) that they deserve to be ranked at the top of the ten best girls baby dolls this year.
