Make your first stop at an authentic Irish pub called Raglan Road. If you haven't eaten yet, this is a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner, too. And it's an exceptional place to drink. Order up a pint of Guinness or Harp, or make it a Black & Tan. The bartenders at Raglan Road are quick on the draw, and they know how to pour. Enjoy some straight Irish Whiskey, or better yet, an Irish coffee, along with one of their fabulous desserts. Stay past nine-thirty, and you can enjoy some live Irish drinking music. If you own a Disney Dining Experience card, be sure to bring it - you'll save twenty percent on all food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks.
Next stop, Bongo's Cuban Café, where your drink of choice may very well be a Mojito. Kick back, relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere that Bongo's Cuban Café has to offer. You'll feel like you are in Havana, as you sip cerveza and enjoy some Cuban treats. The one downside at Bongo's Cuban Café is their bar stools, which aren't really stools at all but drums. But after a few Mojitos, you'll get used to them. Bongo's also serves great Cuban dishes, so stop by for lunch or dinner. They do not accept the Disney Dining Experience card.
Another great place for drinks at Downtown Disney is the House of Blues. Here's where you'll find the best live music and a wild atmosphere. And some pretty damn good New Orleans-style food. Check out the House of Blues online to find out their schedule of live performers. And then head on out there early, enjoy some tunes and Kentucky bourbon, and party on late into the night. The House of Blues is the best place for drinks at Downtown Disney after ten.
Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney just got a new face. And you can drink yours off at this energetic multi-level restaurant and bar. Planet Hollywood is fun for the whole family. You can eat, drink, listen to loud music and the deejay, and check out some really cool movie memorabilia. And save some money for the gift store souvenirs.
Enjoy the best bars at Downtown Disney.
