Amalynn
Raleigh Durham, North Carolina, is a town full of the hippest and hottest bars around. Here's just a few of the best ones!

Legends

Legends lives up to its name as being one of the hottest spots in the area to party, for both gays and for straights. To get in easier, you its recommended to actually purchase a membership, that way when the club gets packed, you can always get in. The music is whats hot now in the party scene, and the men are generally shirtless and fearless on the dance floor. Check out Legends at midnight on a Sunday, when the dance floor becomes a drag show. You'll be pleasantly surprised! There is a lounge area known as the View, where its smoke-free. you can get a drink there and relax a bit as you watch videos on the large TV's. For more information, visit their website at www.legends-club.com . Call 1-919-831-8888, or stop by at 330 W. Hargett Street.

Aura Lounge

The atmosphere of the Aura Lounge may seem quiet from the outside, but inside, the place is packed and bumpin. The clientele are mostly twenty and thirty-somethings, and they are usually wall to wall on the weekends. Drinks are a bit expensive, but the music stays on as DJ's spin it till at least 3 am. Aura is smoke free, but if you need to have a cigarette, or just get out for a moment, stop out into the outdoor patio. Its even heated during the winter months! For more information on the Aura Lounge, you can visit www.raleighnitelife.com or call 919-831-1111. Or visit them at 407 Glenwood Ave in Raleigh.

Longbranch

Longbranch is said to be North Carolina's oldest nightclub. For more than 20 years, they have been showing new talent and Nashville's best in their club. Confederate Railroad and Chris Cagle are just two of those names that have been heard at Longbranch. But the best part is that the place has a total of four clubs to choose from. There's the Swing Room, the Retro Room that plays music from the 70's, the Saloon with country hits, and Club Extreme, playing the latest hits. All four parts of the club have their own bar, their own pool tables, and separate dance floors. Longbranch also offers dance lessons to those who are "dancing-challenged." Their website is www.longbranchsaloon.com, and they are located at 600 Creekside Drive. The clubs phone number is 919-829-1125.
