Looking to send one or more of your kids to basketball camp? If your kids have a love for basketball and want some extra practice, training, or fun, you may be considering this. Kids who are serious about basketball will enjoy a camp like this because they can practice their skills and learn new things. Advantage Basketball Camps

Advantage Basketball Camps has been named one of the top 2 camps in the country by Sports Illustrated. Camp sessions are available in winter, during Spring Break, and also during the summer. At the basketball camps, students will not only learn important basketball skills, but are taught character skills, such as self-esteem and teamwork. These basketball camps are for kids ages 7 - 18.

Brooks Basketball Camp

The Brooks Basketball Camp has previously been sponsored by the NBA as well as various reputable companies. At the Brooks Basketball Camp, focus is put on basketball skills, teamwork, and positive self-confidence. This is a great camp for beginners, as well as advanced players and kids will likely enjoy the opportunity to make new friends with similar interests. Boys and girls ages 8 - 14 can participate in Brooks Basketball Camp.

Basketball Jones Hoop Camps

A variety of college-level and high-school level coaches work with students at the Basketball Jones Hoop Camps. This camp is mainly for kids who have some basketball skills already and are looking to improve upon those skills. Basketball Jones Hoop Camps are fast-paced training camps that last 2 days. Both boys and girls are welcome. Ages for this camp are 9 - 16.

NBC Camps has over 100 different basketball camps. These are located in 39 different cities and 4 different countries. The basketball overnight camps are geared toward ages 9- 18. The Intro day camps are for beginners ages 8 - 12. There also are team camps, position training camps, all-star and elite camps, shooting and attack camps, college training camps, and even family basketball camps.

Nike Basketball Camps

Nike Basketball camps makes the statement that all campers at their camps will learn all the essential skills of basketball, including shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense. The main goals of these basketball camps include improving upon game playing skills, as well as building friendships, having fun, and learning teamwork. Nike Basketball Camps are for kids of all ages and skill levels. Camps are sorted into separate categories boys and girls.

    Although it isn't the noblest of thoughts, I'm always grateful for every kid in our neighborhood who goes to baseball camp instead of spending the day bouncing the ball next door, right outside my office window :) Good article!
