Best Benjamin Moore Paint Colors for a Little Girl's Bedroom: Enchanted Theme

Pam Gaulin
Using Benjamin Moore paint colors, a little girl's bedroom can be transformed into a magical place, reminiscent of Disney's movie Enchanted. These colors combine the classic appeal of Art Deco colors with a dreamy princess-like quality, for a modern day enchantment. The colors in this paint palette are from current Benjamin Moore paint colors and are inspired by scene of Amy Adams in the boat in her beautiful blue dress with her ladylike umbrella.

Best Benjamin Moore Paint Colors for a Little Girl's Bedroom: Enchanted Theme

Fairy Tale blue is the Benjamin Moore paint color that most resembles the color of Amy Adams' dress in the boat scene from Disney's movie Enchanted. The Benjamin Moore paint Fairy Tale Blue could be the main color for a little girl's bedroom with an Enchanted theme.

The Fairy Tale is a happy, cool and pure blue that looks like it enjoys the sunshine. Using a Benjamin Moore paint that is blue is one way not to go the completely traditional route and use pink.

Starry Night blue is a dark blue that can be used in a little girl's room with an Enchanted theme. The Starry Night Benjamin Moore paint is a good accent color when the main color in the room is Fairy Tale Blue. If you feel that this Benjamin Moore paint is a little too dark, even for an accent color in a little girl's bedroom, consider using the Twilight Blue Benjamin Moore paint color.

Acadia Green is a light, powdery green. Incorporate the Benjamin Moore paint to paint small leaves and vines around a doorway. Or use a sponge to create the illusion of low-lying bushes along the bottom of a wall. The Acadia Green is inspired by the leaves on the umbrella in the Enchanted movie.

Pink Cherub is a Benjamin Moore paint color that could also be incorporated. This is a pretty pink that goes well in a little girl's bedroom with an Enchanted theme.

Moonlight Yellow is a very pale yellow Benjamin Moore paint color.

Neutral Benjamin Moore Paint Colors for A Little Girl's Bedroom

There are a couple of neutral Benjamin Moore paint colors that go well with the Enchanted theme for a little girl's bedroom.

Accessories for a Little Girl's Bedroom: Enchanted Theme

Add an Umbrella to the Little Girl's Bedroom

Because this palette selected from Benjamin Moore paint colors was inspired by the boat scene, be sure to incorporate the umbrella theme into the little girl's bedroom decor. If you can find a large white umbrella, you can hang that in one corner of the room from the ceiling.

The white umbrella can be painted with delicate pink, yellow and blue flowers and green leaves.

Paint an Umbrella or Boat Border for a Little Girl

You could also incorporate an umbrella theme by finding any accessories or paintings that have an umbrella in them.

Add Fake Potted Flowers

The third way to add that feminine touch and outdoor feeling the umbrella brings to a little girl's room is to paint small umbrellas along the top of the wall. You can use a stencil to make an even border of umbrellas. Paint the umbrellas in one color, or alternate colors using the Benjamin Moore paint palette selected for the Enchanted theme for a little girl's room.

This idea for a little girl's bedroom could also be used on a chair rail, or to crate the illusion of chair rail.

Use Little Girl Outdoor White Furniture Inside

Add on to the outdoor, spring-like nature of the Enchanted theme little girl's bedroom by bringing in fake potted flowers for the window sill. Purchase a small set of outdoor furniture for her to use, decorating it as if it were outdoors.

Lily Pad Throw Rugs

Rather than using flower throw rugs in the little girl's bedroom, find some lily pad throw rugs. These will help incorporate any green in the room, and add the concept of water to the room's decor.

Tip: Remember, you don't have to use all of these paints. Choose one or two colors that complement each other and add a neutral color. You can also these colors to help you pick accessories for the little girl's bedroom with an Enchanted theme.

Little girls are so important because they become the women of tomorrow. I know. My daughter did. As a little girl, her bedroom was in the pink, creme, and moonlight you mention. A paler green had a subtle presence, too. Her furniture, including a canopy bed, was white French Provincial, accented in these same colors. For just a heartbeat or two, I was back in her room, tucking her in, telling her goodnight. Good article, Pam... Michael
