First and foremost is the classic Chuck-E-Cheese's located on 2020 Fruitville Pike in Lancaster. A favorite spot in Lancaster for kids is Hands on House at 721 Landis Valley Road in Lancaster County. Hands on House offers a basic party for $85 for non members, and $70 for members up to 8 children (max 12 allowed) and 4 adults ($8 for each extra chid or adult). This includes all the playtime you want, a private room for your party, cupcakes and juice and admission. You can also purchase extras such as party favors. If you want to go all out, you can also choose on of their famous themed parties. The cost is $150 for non members and $130 for members ($12 for each extra child and $8 for each extra adult) for up to 8 children (max 12 allowed) and four adults. Birthdays at Dutch Wonderland at 2249 Lincoln Highway in Lancaster are extra special. Their birthdays are only offered in the summer when the theme park for kids, is open (May 2-Oct 11 2009). Running $179.50 for 10 people (adults and children), its a great value for tons of fun. The package includes mini-golf, unlimited soda in souvenir cups, unlimited potato chips, personalized birthday cake, birthday plates, hats and one scoop of ice cream. Village Greens Miniature Golf at 1444 Village Road in Strasburg offers packages for their orange and gold courses. Each course only costs $2.50 for the birthday child. For the orange course, if there are 12 or more, each person costs $7.25, and up to 11, $8 per person. With the gold course, 12 or more costs $8.75 per person, and 11 or less is $9.50 per person. One of the most famous places in Lancaster for a birthday party is The Castle Roller Rink. Located at 140 Elm Avenue in Lancaster, there is a basic package, and a pizza party package. At $8.50 a person for the basic, and $10.75 for the pizza option, both grant your birthday child and guest ice cream and soda during the 30 minutes in the private room, dj birthday announcement, admission, skate rental, and a glow bracelet. There so many options for kids to have great birthday fun in Lancaster. When calling, ask if certain times allow for a discount to save you money on a party. To save money, you can also consider doing a joint birthday party with one of the birthday child's friends and inviting all their mutual friends. Get creative and have a good time.
