Black Friday Prices on DVD Movies

Colt Kingston
If you are searching for one of the best Black Friday deals on DVDs for the movie lover in your life, the place to find them is at Walmart. Walmart's Black Friday ad reads that the store will have over 90 movie titles on sale for $1.96 each.

A few examples of movie titles you might choose from for $1.96 are Sex in the City, Ice Age, 17 Again, Flicka, or Superbad. They are not the newest released movies, but still new enough to interest many people. And with over 90 movie titles to choose from, you are bound to found something you or someone on your Christmas list will enjoy.

They will also have other priced DVDs as well. More recent movies such as The Blindside, The Hangover, and Taken will be priced at $5 each. And the most recent movies such as Karate Kid, Ramona and Beezus, and Get Him to the Greek, will be priced at $9 each. These are good prices, but sometimes video stores such as Blockbuster offer similar or cheaper prices on previously viewed movies.

Walmart's deals on DVDs start at 5am on November 26, 2010.

Kmart will also be offering a Black Friday deal on DVDs. They will have select DVDs on sale the day after Thanksgiving for $3.99 each. Kmart's Black Friday ad reads that shoppers will be able to choose from 50 titles. This after-Thanksgiving deal is not as cheap or vast as Walmart's deal, but it is still a good bargain. Some of their titles possibly available include movies such as Juno, Wanted, and Office Space.

Kmart's deals on their DVD movies will be available starting at 5am on November 26, 2010.

(Note: these prices do not include Blu Ray discs; supplies limited; prices subject to change.)
