1) Cranium Hullaboo- The Cranium games have been a favorite for every age group all the way from infants to adults for years and years now. Recently, Cranium introduced a game called Hullaboo, which is geared towards children of both genders ages 4-8 years old. It focuses on having children do much more than just "sit down and play a game". In fact, your children probably wont sit at all. The game is full of activities such as "jump up and down while touching your nose", "run in a circle", etc. Then, when the Hullaboo pad says "Freeze!" the child on the lucky square wins. It's a lot of fun for children and it is a great way to get them up and exercizing while having fun. It retails for typically about $18 at major toy stores such as Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, Etoys, and many more.

2) Green Eggs and Ham Speedy Diner- This game is perfect to help toddlers and preschoolers learn things like shapes, numbers, colors, letters, and more. It is based on the popular Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham. The game is very fast paced, where children race to see who can take the most "silly food" to the customers in the diner. The "silly food" are things like the food found in the book such as purple pickles, blue bananas, pink pancakes, etc. It is a very interactive game that is sure to be fun for any child. It is geared mainly towards preschoolers (ages 3-5), retails for around $20 and is sold at any major toy store such as Target, Etoys, KbToys, Walmart, Toys R Us, and more.

3) Looney Laundry- This is a very active game perfect for kids over the age of 4 or 5. The object of the game is to be the first player to pick up all the pieces of laundry and place it in the talking laundry hamper before he spits the laundry back out at you. It is sure to keep kids laughing and entertained for hours. It retails for around $20 and is sold at any game store, Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, Kmart, etc.

4) What's in Neds Head?- This game is an award winning where children draw a card and then reach inside "Neds Head" (a stuffed animal type game piece), ears, eyes, and nose to pull out surprises such as a mouse, fried egg, worm, etc. It's sure to provide hours of entertainment for children ages 3-7. It normally retails for about $20 and is sold at basically every toy store such as Etoys, Toys R Us, and more.

5) I-Spy Preschool- This game is great for children of all ages! It helps with memory and cognitive skills, as well as teaches matching, listening, rhyming, reading, and much more. It is based off of the popular I-Spy books. It has won the Parents Seal award, as well as many other educational board game awards for children. It contains over 5 different versions of the game, so it can be replayed over and over without getting boring. It is geared for ages 1-7, but can be enjoyed by kids of all ages. They also have several variations of the I-Spy game for elementary schoolers and higher. It retails for around $15 at any major retailer such as Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, and more. Also, check out book stores such as Barnes and Noble, Borders, and more. They sometimes have a lower price.
