I am an avid reader and believe that helping children learn to read is extremely important. And because I love reading and know how valuable it is, I love to do what I can to help children learn to read. Over the years I've found several books that I believe are some of the best books to help your child learn to read. I'll list them below in order of how simple the books are to read, and how effective I believe they are in helping your child learn to read.
Leap Frog Series
The Leap Frog Series of books are some of the best books to help your child learn to read. The great thing about these books is that they come with built in speakers that actually help children sound out the words in the books. The pages are colorfully illustrated and the Leap Frog series includes many stories children are familiar with and will love learning to read.
"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?"
These two books have got to be some of my favorite books to help children learn to read. "The very Hungry Caterpillar" is written by Erik Carle and "Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See" Is written by Bill Martin Jr. and Erik Carle.
These are some of the best books to help your child learn to read because the sentences are so simple and short. Rhyming is also a great way to help children learn and remember words and their pronunciation.
These books also have great colorful tissue paper style illustrations that set them apart from other books. You're kids will love reading them and looking at the pictures.
Golden Sturdy Books Collection
The Golden Sturdy books collection are also some of the best books to help your child learn to read. They're made of card board, making them great even for very young children. They use minimal words, so kids won't be overwhelmed and the illustrations are great.
The Golden sturdy book collection includes books such as "I am a Bunny," "Inside Sesame Street," and "The Up and Down Book." They're all great books for helping your child learn to read.
A few more of the best books to help your child learn to read
"All By Myself" a little critters book by Mercer Mayer, the "Clifford The Big Red Dog" series, and "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak are also some of the best books to help your child learn to read.
Kids will love the stories, the adventures, and the simple sentences these books use. And, as always they're full of great illustrations.
If you need some books to help your child learn to read, try these books. You're kids will love them.
