Brunch, the epitome of Sunday gatherings, is a great way to get out of the house and eat delicious servings of breakfast and lunch foods. Seattle is known for great brunch restaurants, and there is one brunch buffet in particular that all visitors should try.

Salty's on Alki

Salty's on Alki is hands down the best brunch buffet in Seattle. The menu caters to just about everyone. The brunch buffet spread is massive and visitors will be able to eat anything that they desire. Seafood lovers will be able to enjoy fresh Dungeness crab legs, fresh oysters on the half shell, mounds of shrimp, smoked salmon, clams and mussels. Fresh fish dishes are also available, and fish lovers will definitely enjoy the succulent salmon fillets.

For people who want a traditional breakfast, they can enjoy an assortment of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and corn-beef hash. The brunch buffet also offers an omelet bar and a waffle bar. The omelets are made fresh to order and one can choose any ingredients that they desire. The waffle bar includes an assortment of syrups, whipped topping and fruit spreads to slather all over the freshly made waffles.

People who are more in the mood for lunch type foods can enjoy Salty's delicious macaroni and cheese, vegetable medley, pasta, paella, chicken and fish spreads. All of the foods are made with fresh ingredients and are worth sampling.

Save some room so that you can try the 15 or so different desserts that are displayed on the dessert table. There are so many different types of desserts that you might be overwhelmed by the massive amount of choices. Many kids enjoy dipping fruits and candy into the enormous chocolate fountain.
Besides the buffet, patrons will be able to enjoy the beautiful views of Alki and the Puget Sound from nearly any seat in the restaurant. The view is definitely a site to behold on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The mimosas and Bloody Marys should be tried by the adults as they complement the breakfast buffet quite nicely.

Remember to book ahead of time as the place tends to get packed on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are definitely a must! Call (206) 937-1600 or reserve online.
