Established in 1969 in Santa Barbara, California, The Habit Burger Grill is easily the best burger joint in Santa Barbara. When dining at Habit Burger, you will find that their tagline, "There's no substitute for quality," could not be more true at any other hamburger joint. According to HabitBurger.com, the burgers are made with "100% lean beef" that is "ground fresh daily". Habit Burger offers a variety of hamburgers and cheeseburgers to choose from, as well as other menu items such as sandwiches, salads, fries, and shakes. I love the easy-going, no frills atmosphere of The Habit burger joints here in Santa Barbara. I've been to other locations outside of town but these locations are more corporate and seem to have lost their charm, but with that said the food is still great.

In-N-Out Burger is generally known as the best burger joint in the country as it has branched out from a small burger joint to a huge franchise. Somehow, after In-N-Out's massive growth, they have been able to realize the reason for their success and have made sure not to change what they offer. In-N-Out Burger is a fun place to eat out with friendly well-paid employees and a throwback 50's feeling. The employees wear paper hats and gigantic safety pins. Call me strange, but in my book that's a plus.

Chubbies Hamburgers

Chubbies is a nice place to enjoy a burger outside in the Santa Barbara weather. At $4.99, the one third of a pound "Chubbie" is a great value. Chubbies was a tough decision for me to place but after giving my list a long hard thought, I decided I liked In-N-Out just a little bit more than Chubbies. In-N-Out Burger has many more locations around the county, so if you're in Santa Barbara you definitely should try Chubbies while you're in town.
