Wine lovers love drinking wine, especially in the summer time. One of the best wines, many wine lovers would say is cabernet sauvignon. However, there are many different types of cabernet sauvignon. In addition, some of them aren't very good alone, but are only tasty with certain types of food. Therefore, you wouldn't want to drink them without accompaniment like many wine lovers like to do in the summer time. Here are the top five cabernet sauvignon wines that are perfect for summer.
- Gallo Barrelli Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is made from the Barrelli Creek Cabernet. It contains flavors of blackberry, tea, spice, cedar, berry pie, black pepper, briar, and tobacco, and anise. This powerful combination makes for a very satisfying wine and a fantastic summer cabernet sauvignon. Plus, Gallo wines only cost about five dollars at stores like Winn Dixie and Wal-Mart.
- Livingston Cabernet Sauvignon. Livingston makes a wonderful cabernet sauvignon wine that is velvety and rich. Its appearance is a lush, dark red that tastes smooth, dark, and deep. It contains very slight hints of berries. This wine can be bought as a large bottle for about eight dollars at Winn Dixie.
- Oak Leaf Cabernet Sauvignon. This cabernet sauvignon has lots of flavors of cherries, raspberries, vanilla, and oak. This is a dark wine that's surprisingly drinkable for its low price. It's sold for a cheap three dollars at Wal-Mart.
- Napa Valley Bangin' Red Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is another cheap one at fewer than ten dollars. However, once again it's surprisingly tasty for an inexpensive wine. It has berry, spice, plum, and coffee flavors with an undercurrent of oak. This is a nice, everyday summer red wine. It's only nine dollars and can found at local stores such as Wal-Mart, again.
- FishEye Cabernet Sauvignon. This cabernet sauvignon contains more a fruit taste, mostly plum, with a hint of pepper as well. Plus, it's lush and smooth and a delight to drink. It only costs about eight dollars a bottle and can be found at most any major grocery store, such as Publix and Winn Dixie.
