Best Camping and Recreation Sites in Ohio

Lisa Musser
I just moved here to Ohio myself and decided to look up some places in my area to go for a camping
vacation. The kids love going to the park now that is is warming up and the area is just beautiful. Green
trees, lakes, and a lot of good places for fishing if you like to fish. Beautiful hiking trails and wooded areas
are great places for nature photography.

Camping is an inexpensive way to take your kids for a vacation. You can go for a week or a weekend
depending on your schedule. If you have an RV or Motor Home, you can camp with all the amenities and
comforts of home. For those who like to rough it in the great outdoors, there's nothing like pitching a tent
next to a great fishing spot for early morning fishing.

I made a list of some of the great campsites here in Ohio along with some of the amenities and locations,
hours and any fees. Most campsites have hook ups for electricity, bathrooms and playground areas the for
the kids and beautiful hiking trails for the adults. With the weather getting warm, it's time to get outside and
enjoy nature.
