Caramel Apples Make One of the Best Fall Treats Around

Caramel Apple Recipe

Ingredients:

* 1 c. butter
* 2 c. packed brown sugar
* 1 c. light corn syrup
* 1-14 oz can of condensed milk (sweetened)
* 2 T of vanilla
* 4 Apples
* 4 popsicle sticks or 2 chopsticks, broken into 4 sticks.

Directions:

1. Combine butter, brown sugar, condensed milk and corn syrup.
2. Bring to a boil and cook until a meat or candy thermometer hits 248. (firm ball stage)
3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla to make amazing caramel for the apples.
4. Set up piece of parchment paper and taking your apples with sticks in them, dip them in caramel and then let them dry on either parchment paper or cupcake cups.
5. After you coat them in caramel you can also put a little chocolate sauce, candy pieces or nuts on top to give the caramel apples a little pizazz. This is the best caramel apple recipe ever.
