Hours: Daily 11:30 am to 10:00 pm.
Very fun atmosphere with lots of interesting decor and hundreds of bottles of hot sauces lining the walls.
This is a fun place with a surprisingly large and excellent menu which includes tacos, burritos, tostadas, sandwiches, and even pizzas. Try some of their appetizers. The corn cakes are fantastic. Think polenta, but with a Mexican flair and a really large portion. To drink, try the aguas frescas. After a great local hike, the watermelon aguas frescas was incredible. Prices are reasonable and it is a very kid friendly spot.
There is a small parking lot behind the building. Beer and wine are served.
Cafe del Soul
247 Shoreline Hwy
Mill Valley, CA
415.388.1852
Hours: 11:00 am 7: 00 pm daily
If you are in the Tam Valley neighborhood of Mill Valley or driving through on Highway 1 to Muir Woods or Stinson Beach, you have to stop here from some of the local
Flavor. Cafe Del Soul serves exquisite wraps and salads, all made with organic produce. As locals, we swear by the Chipotle Sunrise Wrap, a tasty rice wrap made with chicken or tofu. The Curry Soul Good is also a favorite.
Cafe del Soul is also a free wi-fi hot spot which is why the smart people at Starbuck's two doors down, sit on the wall nearest to the Cafe del Soul.
The folks who work here are the friendliest and most sincere folks you will find anywhere. There is an old Mill Valley vibe of peace and love that does wonders if you need a little stress reduction from the outside world. Take a hike or bike ride out to Tennessee Valley and then stop in for some great food and a little joy!
To find Cafe del Soul from Highway 101, take the Stinson Beach, Highway 1 exit. Just after passing Walgreen's on the left, you will come to a small shopping center on the left with a Starbuck's. Cafe del Soul is in this center.

Mill Valley CA 94941
Hours:
11am - 9pm, Sunday - Wednesday
11am - 9.30pm, Thursday
11am - 10pm, Friday & Saturday
It's not pizza, but man, oh man, is it incredible sort-of pizza. Using local, sustainable and organic farm produce, the folks here create very special flatbreads that are like individual pizzas. They are out of this world. If you are in Mill Valley, you have to be sure to cruise by and try these out. An individual flatbread is from $10-$13 and worth every penny.
We love the Mad River with "Shed-made" sweet-maple fennel sausage, oven-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, crimini mushrooms, mozzarella and grana cheese, and tomato sauce. We like to pair it with the Aubergine with eggplant and red peppers and share the two flatbreads between the two of us.
From the Depot in downtown Mill Valley, make a left onto Throckmorton and then a right on Madrona.
Hours:
11am - 9pm, Sunday - Wednesday
11am - 9.30pm, Thursday

Owner Gret DiGiovine, known as "Tony" here, creates beautiful, artisan thin crust pizza. It is a rare treat that is a feast for the taste buds. He uses excellent ingredients, emphasizing top quality cheese with organic tomato sauce. All of his pizzas are vegetarian and named for jazz, folk, and rock songs and musicians. Owner Greg DiGiovine was formerly a music industry insider, managing Carlos Santana.
The delicate "Whiter Shade of Pale" is among the finest pizzas I have ever tasted. It includes the Tony Tutto three cheese blend, ricotta salata and parmigiano reggiano. An individual pizza is $10-$12.
