Make a Decision Today to Begin the "7 Day Weight Loss Plan," and Change Your Life for the Better

M. Kayo
Anyone wanting to lose weight plans to succeed. At least that's what dieters want when they first start out on a weight loss meal plan. Perhaps you have chosen the DASH diet eating plan, or the Atkins diet eating plan. Maybe the South Beach diet eating plan is your key to ultimate weight loss.

Your 7 Day Weight Loss Plan

You've probably heard of the 3 day weight loss plan, or the 6 day weight loss plan, or whatever. Well, the only real plan that's going to work for ultimate and lasting weight loss is the 7 day weight loss plan. What this really means is that your weight loss has to become a 7 day-a-week, 24 hour weight loss lifestyle. Serious dieters must decide that you really do want to lose weight and that you're willing to do almost anything to achieve that weight loss goal. Every meal you eat must be a weight loss meal. Every snack you have must be like a weight loss meal. Every time you go out to breakfast, lunch, or dinner you must only eat what amounts to a weight loss meal.

Get Used to a Diet Low in Fat, Sugar, and Carbs

According to WebMD.com, a diet low in carbs will get the weight off quickly, but a diet low in fat may be your best bet for long-term weight loss. Jennifer Warner, reporting in a March 10, 2010 article for WebMD.com stated that their research found that obese people who followed a diet low in fat were more likely to keep the weight off three years longer than those dieters who followed a diet low in carbohydrates. Basically, your body recognizes carbs as sugar anyway, so a diet low in carbs and sugar along with a diet low in fat is your sure ticket to long-term weight loss.

The Keys to Long-Term Weight Loss is a Good Diet Eating Plan

You have probably been on the diet roller coaster long enough. Even the most exhilarating roller coaster gets old after a while. I'm assuming that if you have read this far, you're tired of being on the weight loss roller coaster. You've probably tried the low carb weight loss plans and the no-sugar diet eating plans. Remember the Cabbage Soup Diet where your weekly diet consisted of only that soup? I really couldn't eat medallion-crinkle cut carrots for years after that diet eating plan. Dieters do lose a lot of weight, but you can only eat cabbage soup for just so long.

The human body is designed to take in and thrive on a balanced diet made up of all different types of food. Where we get into trouble is when we get that balanced diet all out of balance. We eat more of the things we love, that may not be good for us. And we end up gaining weight, maybe just a few pounds each year. After ten years, those few pounds really start to show. So, a sound diet eating plan for ultimate weight loss success is going to be a balanced weekly diet of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and low fat dairy products.

Getting enough of the right nutrients and cutting back where necessary is all part of this 7 day weight loss plan. Eating the right balance of foods and getting enough of those healthy calories is vital. About 50% of the diet should come from complex carbohydrates, another 25% from protein, and another 25% from fat. Forget about 5 day weight loss plans that promise to help you shed 10 pounds of fat, or some low carb weight loss plan that relies heavily on lot's of unhealthy food choices. Successful dieters who follow a sensible, well-rounded nutritional diet eating plan will lose weight. Successful dieters have made the transition from weight loss diet eating plan to a lifestyle of ongoing healthy weight loss and weight maintenance.
