Best Character on Trailer Park Boys - Bubbles

Bubbles, who has had that name ever since he was a little guy, is the smartest member of the Sunnyvalle Trailer Park. If the Trailer Park Boys is an unfamiliar television show, that is because it only airs in Canada. Not holding that against it, it is one of the best shows currently being made and is available from all of the major online movie rental stores. Bubbles, a man with very large lenses in his glasses, has been called a 'Big Googley Eyed Bastard' by some residents of the park. Even with his disability, he is the heart and soul behind Sunnyvalle Trailer Park.

Bubbles tries to keep the peace in the park while residing in a shed complete with indoor plumbing and satellite television. His main form of transportation is a go-cart which was purchased by Ricky with money he made by selling drugs to prison guards. Although it only seats one person, Bubbles keeps a small trailer handy to haul around Ricky when he passes out in the middle of the street from a hard night of drinking.

Because Bubbles spends all his time trying to keep Ricky and Julian out of jail, he has little time to hold down a real job. He makes money by refurbishing shopping carts he finds and sells them back to the local malls. It does not pay much, but it is enough to keep him and his kitties fed. He had aspirations as a little kid to be an astronaut, but they took one look at him and told him he needed to see a little better to be an astronaut.

As always, Bubbles is willing to put his future on the line to help out Ricky and Julian. Ricky and Julian needed to get a semi truck load of weed delivered to the Snoop Dogg concert, however they needed a truck driver. Bubbles took a drivers test trying to get his rig license, and failed the seeing test. The instructor held up 3 fingers and asked Bubbles how many fingers he was holding up. Of course, Bubbles could see nothing and answered "All of them". Without his license, Bubbles put his life on the line and drove the rig, only to be sabotaged by Trailer Park Supervisor Jim Lahey and his 20 sticks of dynamite.

When Ricky became the Trailer Park Supervisor, Bubbles became the Assistant Trailer Park Supervisor and kept the park together as Ricky could not handle things when Julian was in jail. Unfortunately, his title of Assistant Trailer Park Supervisor was taken away when he and Ricky lost a wrestling match to Mr. Lahey and Randy. Had they won the wrestling match they would have been named Trailer Park Supervisors of the year by the Association of Trailer Parks, Trailer Park Supervisors, and Assistant Trailer Park Supervisors.

Bubbles is always the voice of reason in the park. He kept an eye on the dope trailer when Ricky and Julian were being distracted by girls. Even though Ricky did not bring Bubbles the egg rolls he promised, he still helped the boys out when the Bible Guy took off with their dope. He also has morals as shown by his reaction to Ricky's claim that using children to steal barbeques was safe because kids cannot get into trouble for theft under $1000.

Sunnyvalle Trailer Park would be a different place without Bubbles. Ricky and Julian would spend a lot more time in jail. Mr. Lahey would spend even more time drinking, and most likely that caveman Sam Losco would have taken over the park. The parking lots would be littered with shopping carts, and the cats in the park would be hungry. Without Bubbles, Sunnyvalle as we know it would cease to exist.
