Best Chicago BBQ Restaurants in Chicago, Illinois

One of the things I enjoy in life is having good BBQ and I take my BBQ very serious. My girlfriend tells me that I take it too seriously but I say that if BBQ isn't worth taking serious then what in life is? The way I look at it is that we are only one earth for a short period of time and then we are gone. If you find a type of food that you love then you should do everything you can to find the best version of it possible and if not then there really is very little point to life. I make it my mission of earth to find some of the best food around the United Sates and I can tell you that Chicago, IL has some of the best BBQ that I have ever experienced.

Smoque BBQ is one of the best BBQ places that I have ever eaten at because they have some amazing brisket and the pulled pork is also amazing. If you go here I suggest you get this dish with their beans and another side of your choosing. I spent about $20 here but I like that it is a very laid back place and I was able to get my food quickly and just relax without any trouble. They are open from 11am to 9am almost every night except for the weekend when they are open until 10pm. They are located at 3800 N Pulaski Rd. If you like fries then you should get those because they are also quite good but the platter with the cobbler is filling and the taste is amazing.

Lem's BBQ House is a place that you must go if you love ribs because this place has the most amazing rib tips that you will ever taste. The sausage also tastes like it is right out of the pit and the taste of smoke was like a shower for my mouth. They are located at 311 E 75th St but you should be aware that they do not accept credit cards. You should expect to bring about $40 or so for two people but you will not need to tip anyone at this eat in. They are open until 10PM I believe and if you go here you will enjoy.

Uncle John's BBQ is probably the base simple BBQ place in Chicago because it is quick and easy. They have great ribs that I got with fries in a container to go. The store is located at 339 E 69th Street and you should not miss these ribs. It costs me about $9 so this is the least expensive option.

Nice. Hadn't heard of Smoque, thanks for the introduction. I am a huge fan of Lem's as well as Honky Tonk in Pilsen.
