It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and by the Council on Chiropractic Education. Its campus is conveniently just 15 minutes southeast of downtown Houston. They have students from all over the world and also offer B.S. degrees in Public health and in Human Biology. Their course for training for the license usually takes 3.5 years. Parker college of Chiropractice is dedicated to the idea of training people in the wholistic medicine arts. They have a school of massage therapy as well as the chiropractic school. It is located in Dallas and the college offers a 9-trimester course for certification as Dr. of Chiropracty, which can be completed in 3 years. Cleveland Chiropractic College has two campuses--one in Kansas City; the other in Los Angeles, CA. The California campus offers degrees in chiropracty, in biological sciences, and a B.S in Human Biology. Applicants must have a cumulative CPA of 2.5 and 90 hours of course work at the college level, with certain curriculum areas required. A D.C. degree costs $274 per credit hour with many additional fees involved. They do have financial assistance at a student aid office. The standard length of study is 4 years.
