"The Best Carols Album in the World ..... Ever" Various Artists. The top ten of classic carols. Everything from Ding dong merrily on high to Holly and the Ivy. Some songs may be more well known over in the UK, but they are all gorgeous and fabulously sung by seven Choirs. If all the modern Christmas hits drive you mad, and you want your classic favourite carols, this is the one to go for. The seven choirs are the choir of King's college (Cambridge), the Bach Choir (London), the Clare College singers (Cambridge), the Temple Church choir (London), the Taverners choir, the Midiaevel Babes and the Huddersfield choral society. A brief history of each is included in the liner notes.
It is an older album, so the price is good at $11 for a double CD.
