Best Christmas Gift from 2008

Christmas is a special time of the year, especially 2008. Many of us are struggling with the economy and times are flat out tough. My husband and I have two children and we did plenty of getting up at 3 a.m. to ensure we got the best deals possible for the children's gifts.

When it came to the two of us, we thought we would just get three things that we absolutely needed. I thought this Christmas might be rather disappointing as Coach bags, jewelry and items of that nature hardly qualify as needs. I was rather surprised that my husband could get creative enough to get me a coupon book from a local housekeeping company for sixteen cleaning sessions.

This was the best Christmas gift ever, it is something that I could use all year round and when I just felt like having a day off, I could just use the coupon book and have the housekeepers come in and do what they do best. Sixteen cleanings gives me an average of one per month and a couple of extra for the heavy duty seasonal cleanings. When you work full time and have small children, it seems as though the cleaning is just never done. Christmas 2008 has been great but the entire year of 2009 will be spotless in my home.

I think this is the best gift I have ever received. I will get a bit of breathing room in 2009 and be able to get my own Coach bags and jewelry, finding bargains is have the fun of shopping, and with a clean house to come home to, what women wouldn't be HAPPY !!

So for all you guys out there looking to make Christmas really special, think out of the box and give that special someone, something that will really touch there soul.
