During a holiday season such as Christmas, Elementary school teachers are planning to enjoy their winter break just like everyone else, why not get the teachers a gift they will cherish and love? For years many people have stuck to getting teachers the same thing during holidays, wooden apples and mugs, those days are over. Now you can actually get teachers gifts that they will use and love!

Gift Cards: For those of you that don't know, Gift Cards are the most popular gifts to get teachers! Not only can you obtain gift cards for the teacher's favorite store, you can also mix and match the cards you give. Say the teacher's favorite stores are Barnes and Nobles and Walmart, why not give a $10 gift card from Barnes and Nobles and a $20 card from Walmart? The list doesn't stop there however; you can get gift cards from flower, electronic, sport and grocery stores. The hottest gift cards for Christmas are honestly movie cards, purchase one so the teacher can view the latest and greatest flick in the theater.

Gift Baskets: All teachers are sure to love gift baskets! Well, as long as you got the right items in the gift basket, the teacher will love it! Try this idea; stock the gift basket full of school supplies such as pencils, paper, pens and other office supplies. Most of the time teachers spend money from their own pockets to get supplies for the classroom; this will be a way of "giving back". Pay special attention to the interests of the teacher so you can personalize the gift basket for their taste.

Scrapbook: Teachers love to hold onto the memories of their past and present students. You and your child could make a scrap book just for the teacher. In the scrapbook you could put pictures and drawings of the class. Along with doing this, have your child decorate the entire book as they wish, this will give it a more personal feel.

Candy: What teacher doesn't love candy? Sure not all teachers love chocolate, however; mostly all teachers love candy! All you have to do if find out the type of candy they love and purchase it. Don't just go to the store and purchase a bag of candy to give to the teacher, "jazzy" it up a bit by putting it into another container or gift bag. If the teacher loves chocolate, try going to See's Candy, they have some of the best and richest chocolate in the world!

Spend Your Time: If you're on a budget or short on money, there are still plenty of things you can do to give a teacher a Christmas present. One of those things is "spending time", when I say this I mean use the skills you're good at to do good for someone else. If you're a computer expert, try fixing the class computer or teacher's laptop. If you're good at building things, build something that will benefit the class and the teacher. Just because you don't have money, doesn't mean you can't supply the greatest Christmas gift!
