Sugar Plum Fairy by Lyn Adams

Who doesn't remember the Sugar Plum Fairy as a child? I took my kids to a production of the Sugar Plum Fairy and they loved it. Parents can expect for the children to fall in love with this play as the Sugar Plum Fairy races against time to try and fit into her outfit after eating numerous plums. This show is scheduled to be at the Children's Center of Arts. The box office and ticket information location is at 2501 N Blackwelder in Oklahoma City on Tuesday thru Friday from 1-5 pm. If you are planning to go to the Sugar Plum Fairy the dates are set for December 3rd thru the 19th and the schedule A productions is at 11 am on Wednesday and Fridays and again at 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The schedule B productions are also on the same dates and they start at 11 am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and again at 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The pricing starts out at $5 and goes up to $75 depending on the membership and shows that you schedule.

A Christmas Carol by D. Lance Marsh

I love plays and stories that have a meaning behind them and what better way of teaching the spirit of Christmas than with the play "A Christmas Carol"? A Christmas Carol goes back to the story that you probably heard as a child with Mr. Scrooge and how everything was about money to him until he was shown that the spirit of Christmas is all about caring and showing that you can be kind and generous to those around you. For tickets and information you can reach the box office at 405-951-0011 or by visiting their office at 2501 N. Blackwelder in Oklahoma City on Tuesday thru Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm. A Christmas Carol is scheduled for December 4th thru the 14th.

A Territorial Christmas Carol

This is a unique way and a tradition of Guthrie Oklahoma to do the play A Christmas Carol. Instead of the original way of doing the play they put a spin on it to create a little bit territorial background in the play. If you don't mind driving the 36 miles outside of Oklahoma City, this is the place for you and your children to enjoy a great Christmas play with a twist. The days of this Christmas play is from November 21st to December 21st. The cost is from $15 to $22 and you can visit their website for the times and exact days of the showing.

A Tuna Christmas by Ed Howard

If you are looking for a little bit of comedy and Christmas to go along with it, this production might be a great choice for you. It isn't only witty but it also has a lot of meaning behind it. Tickets can be purchased by calling 405-297-2264 and you can also call this number for other ticket information and times of the showing. The production will be held from December 5th thru the 21st.

The Nutcracker presented by the Oklahoma City Ballet Company

The Nutcracker is an showing that has been in performance for 30 years. The only thing that has change about this production is some of the choreography, costumes, and some surprises that you might see during the show. The Nutcracker is held December 13th thru the 21st every year. Tickets can be purchased by calling 405-297-2264. The times of the shows are on December 13th at 7 pm, December 14th at 2 pm, December 19th and 20th at 7 pm, and December 21st and 22nd at 2 pm.
