First check out "Shopicidal Maniacs" from an addled Christmas shopper who I'm guessing lives in the U.K. This is basically a freeform (yet very genteel) rant related to Christmas shopping. It perfectly captures the confused and overwhelmed state of mind of most Christmas shoppers.
Second, to further put you in the "Ho, Ho, Ho" spirit, check out "Loco Mama's Holiday Shopping Tips." What better source of YouTube shopping wisdom than a drag queen with her own online shop? Maybe you'll get some great ideas for that White Elephant gift you've been avoiding looking for. How about a "candy bra?"
My third pick is a charming little video called "Mr. Bean - Christmas Scene VERY FUNNY!" Here we have the engaging Mr. Bean, taking some time out from shopping to apply a few sound effects to a manger scene in a store. Then, for no apparent reason, some soldiers come sailing by, playing music ... and then a robot ... you get the idea. A glimpse inside Mr. Bean's head is always amusing. (And crowded.)
For my fourth pick, I'll include "Suburban Zombie Christmas Movie Trailer," about an unsuspecting suburban community slowly being converted into - umm - "zombies" during the Holiday season. This video, which seems to be popular on YouTube, aptly captures my biggest irritations with the Holiday season, but my main beef with it is that the director apparently does not know the difference between the terms "zombie" and "vampire." No matter. Check it out for a nice dose of Christmas humbuggery.
My fifth and last video pick for you is "Panto People Go Christmas Shopping!" which is basically a bunch of costumed mall employees harassing the shoppers during the Christmas season. To be specific, these include Dame Dolly Jollybottom, Snow White and Muddles. Just what we Christmas shoppers need, right? This is a very cute video, and probably exactly the thing to lift your spirits.
I just now realized that three out of my five picks were created in the United Kingdom. Maybe they are more able to appreciate Christmas shopping as a rich source of humor; I don't know. I hope these YouTube videos help you to survive your Christmas shopping, to the extent that you decide to indulge in it. Bring your spurs and whip, and don't forget to stop off for a latte. Happy Holidays to you!
