Best Cityville Crops for Profit and Experience

AmyBrowne
Cityville crops are a necessity if you want to succeed in the game. Which crops will bring in the most money in the game? What is the best to plant if you want to gain experience and sail through the levels with ease?

Of course, the biggest question is how often do you want to play Cityville? Crop harvest times here range from 5 minutes to three days. If a player, plans to only visit the game every 8 hours, its best to stick with the eight-hour crop of carrots to prevent spoilage.

Strawberries are the quickest ripening crop in this game. They are ready to harvest in 5 minutes, and if you wish to gain experience quickly and have a lot of energy this may ne the route to go here. If you harvest right way after they ripen you can plant up to six crops in that plot per hour. These will add up experience quickly, but for the same reason they will use energy up quickly. A player does get 15 goods per each plot of strawberries in Cityville so that can help to supply goods to your city.

The eggplant which matures in an hour can also help to supply a city with much needed goods, however because it matures slower it does not require as much energy. This is a good advantage if a player wishes to limit the energy usage but it also limits the amount of energy a player can gain.

If you have many neighbors where you can get energy and crops, I would limit the crop production inn the game Cityville. Friends cannot only 'gift' energy the players can get energy from visiting those neighbors. Go help with neighbors' crops to earn the goods you require and save your energy for building and collecting those rental payments.

Fastest growing crops

Strawberry ripens every 5 minutes costs 20 coins and player receives 15 goods per plot.

Eggplant ripens in one-hour; this costs 28 coins and gives 30 goods.

Watermelon is ready in four hours, and costs 36 coins and yields 46 goods.

Carrots ripen in eight hours and cost 46 coins per plot. The player gets 70 coins.

Cranberries ripen in 12 hours, cost 49 coins, and yield 80 goods.

Pumpkins ripen in 18 hours, cost 52 coins, and yield 90 goods.

Corn ripen in 24 hours, cost 62 coins, and yield 110 goods.

Wheat ripens in 48 hours, cost 71 coins, and yield 130 goods.

Peas ripen in 72 hours, cost 85 coins, and yield 155 goods.

Please note that all Cityville crops earn one experience point per plot at each harvesting.

Hottest new game on FB. I lasted a day or three. As far as crop games, I am spoiled by FarmTown. I do not need to wait for energy to play the game and can pick up coins, EXP, crops by going to Market, working for non-neighbors. That makes up for no 5 minute crops ~ my fav because I prefer to stay at games, oh, for an hour, than having to remember when I need to be back to harvest or whatever.
