Superman, the Man of Steel, is possibly the oldest popular comic book character that can be turned into a Halloween costume. A Superman Halloween costume is a great excuse to run around in pajamas. Then, after the comic book character is donned, roll up a bunch of socks or other materials and stuff them wherever "big" muscles should be, and don't forget the cape!

This is another costume that can likely be purchased pre-manufactured, but again, pajamas can work too. To get Spider-man's shiny eyes, just get some mirrored sunglasses and a winter ski mask/hat, then your comic book character Halloween costume will be complete.

This comic book character is simple to make for Halloween with its monotone black material, small blanket or sheet for a cape, and black ski mask with "ears" attached to the top. This character would not be complete without the use of glow-in-the-dark marker or paint to make the bat symbol on the chest.

The simplest Wolverine Halloween costume to make might be from the X-Men movies. Black material stuffed with "sock muscles" and a sharp-haired wig and facial "hair" is the basics of this winning character. Round off the costume with fake knives attached to gloved knuckles and this comic book character Halloween costume is ready to get some candy!
