Comic Book Stores in Orange County that You Want to Visit
We'll break down 3-5 of the best in the Newport Beach and Irvine areas and let you decide and hopefully enjoy these Comic Book finds.
Alakazam Comics
4237 Campus Drive, Irvine CA 92612
This is a local Comic Book store situated near the University California at Irvine. This store features comic books, graphic novels, toys, action figures, magic the gathering, yu-gi-oh, collectible card games, statues, video games, sports cards, anime, manga, single cards, collectibles. Reviewers have enjoyed their store and I usually stop by every other week to see what's new and they've always stocked the latest in comics. You can grab a comic, grab a local eat, and enjoy your latest purchase.
Cha Ya
3030 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
This is a smaller comic book store in Costa Mesa and it's a more family feel store. This is the comic book store you always had in your local neighborhood and best of all it's open till 1am. You can seat on the sofa, enjoy your favorite beverage, and read into the night. Situated near the freeways makes it a perfect location for traffic as well.
Majestix Comics, Collectibles, and Games
2075 Newport Bouvevard, Costa Mesa, CA
This is a newer store that's located in Costa Mesa as well. They feature all the latest comic books as well and feature Pokemon, WOW, and other collectibles as well. Open till 9pm and near the Orange County Fairgrounds makes it a great place to stop off on your way home or to the office.
Comics Toons N Toys
13542 Newport Avenue Tustin CA 92780
This is a little outside the Newport and Irvine areas but this is where you'll find a large selection of current and back issue comic books to add to your collection. It's highly rated across the internet and when in the area, I usually stop by to pick up a few older comic books to add to my ever growing collection. More than fair prices, a friendly staff, and a selection that marvels others makes this place a must see.
