The Los Angeles Community College, LACC, is set on a forty nine acre campus. The facilities on campus feature over a dozen multi-story classroom buildings including but not limited to a library, computer labs, fitness centers, theater, and TV/film studios. Any high school graduate is open to enroll and the tuition is very inexpensive. In fact, LACC was deemed one of the most affordable colleges in the nation. However, if you still can not afford it, the Los Angeles City College is associated with various federal and state financial assistance programs to help students pay for college. LACC offers a wide range of courses from architecture, the sciences, athletics, business, computers, engineering, philosophy, and much, much more. LACC even has many courses that you can take online. Pasadena CIty College
Pasadena City College (PCC) is a great school in a great location. I personally, have take classes there and I absolutely love it. The tuition is very inexpensive, and financial aid options are also available. Like LACC, PCC offers a wide range of courses, even online. They also have study abroad programs and scholarships. PCC is located minutes away from Old Town Pasadena, a great place to have lunch or see a movie. Also, every first Sunday of the Month, PCC holds a flea market with over 480 vendors. Santa Monica College
Santa Monica college offers a great educational experience, and provides the community a wealth of resources. Santa Monica College (SMC) is known for their academic excellence as well as their John Drescher Planetarium and the Academy of Entertainment & Technology, with strong connections in the industry. When transferring to UC's or USC after community college SMC takes the lead in the number of students who are accepted after attending their college. They prepare students for technologies of today in fields including nursing, computer technology, business, and graphic design. SMC is also one of the most affordable community colleges in the world and is located on a 38-acre campus less than two miles from the Santa Monica Beach and pier.
