This corn maze is the oldest in Colorado, covers 30 acres of corn fields and has over 8 miles of trails. I just visited Anderson Farms again this past weekend and was not disappointed. In addition to the corn maze, they have animals you can feed and pet like cows, bison, pigmy goats (that give birth in the fall), alpacas and sheep. Starting this year they offer gem mining, a Sudoku maze and nighttime hayrides. They also have a pumpkin patch that covers over 30 acres.
So after you get lost in the corn maze and take a hay ride, why not warm up in the party barn with some delicious food like bbq beef, bratwurst or chili and a cup of hot chocolate? The food is great and warms you up from the inside out. There is also a gift shop with fall and Halloween inspired gifts for everyone on your list!
Fall Festival runs from September 19th to November 1st in 2009. They also offer field trips to groups. For Fall Festival expect to pay $10 if you are between 13 and 59, $8 if you are over 60 or 4-12 and 3 and under are free. Be sure to check out their website at Andersonfarms.com for more details. Here is a coupon for Fall Festival too.
In addition to the corn maze and fall festival, Anderson Farms offers facility rental. The Party Barn at Anderson Farms offers great views of the Front Range with Longs Peak. Birthdays, Weddings, Company Picnics, Award Banquets, Holiday Parties, Family Reunions and other reasons to celebrate would work well in the Party Barn event center. They offer Facility rental, Wedding packages and Catering at Anderson Farms.
So, if you are looking for fun this fall , Anderson Farms definitely has something for you! Whether it's the best corn maze I have ever been to, great food and gifts or other fall festival activities that interest you, check them out this year!! Their address is: 6728 County Road 3 ΒΌ, Erie, CO 80516 and the phone number is (303)828-5210. They recommend using their map because google maps is not always accurate.
